What we like about this product is that it doesn’t contain any unnecessary ingredients and Proleve is very clear about where the CBD comes from and that it has been tested for purity and potency by a third-party lab. The bottle confirms that the product is all-natural, non-GMO, gluten free, pesticide-free, and grown in the USA.
Though this is clearly a high-quality product, there are a few things to be mindful of.
First and foremost, you should note that this is a full-spectrum CBD product which means it may contain up to 0.3% THC. That shouldn’t be enough to have any intoxicating effect but be mindful high-concentration products with very small or young pets.
Second, the dosing instructions are pretty simple – they recommend 1 drop per 10 pounds of bodyweight. Proleve suggests 1 drop is equivalent to 1mg of CBD.

In terms of pet CBD products, Proleve is lacking. They only offer one pet-specific CBD product, their 500mg CBD oil tincture. This product offers excellent value ($0.07/mg of CBD) and the dosing is actually pretty simple – just one drop per pound of body weight. We also liked the pure CBD isolate powder as an option for pet use.
That being said, if you’re looking for a company that offers a variety of products and different concentrations, you may have to look elsewhere.
