Experience

I have practiced emergency medicine in specialty and emergency-only hospitals since completing veterinary school. My enjoyment of both helping pets through their problems and guiding clients through their pets' recovery led me to writing as a way to spread knowledge about common pet problems. The same concepts that allowed me to break down complex medical problems quickly for pet owners in emergency situations drives my writing and editing.

When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, cooking, video games, and reading sci-fi novels. Our family includes a cat and a dog who like to compete for space on my lap while I'm working.
